Delivering great customer service is our top priority at Stonebay of Orono and is created by building passionate and skilled care teams who get to know our residents as if they were family.

JENNIFER ENSIGN - Executive Director

Jennifer Ensign is the Executive Director here at Stonebay of Orono. She is responsible for providing proactive leadership, overall direction, administration and management of all aspects of the community will ensuring the fulfillment of our commitment to provide residents and team members with excellence and quality.


Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience working within senior housing and started out as a caregiver working on the night shift. She continued to challenge herself and has been in leadership roles for the past 15 years. She is very active within the community and you will see her everywhere and anywhere. One minute she could be working in the kitchen to help serve great food or hosting an interactive program with our residents. She truly enjoys getting to know the residents and all of their loved ones.


Jennifer lives with her husband Dustin and her two children, Landon and Winter. They enjoy the company of their family pets that includes: two dogs, Scout and Denali, a turtle named Turtie and can’t forget the guinea pig named Taco! They love getting outdoors and enjoy going camping, hiking and swimming.

ALISHA SANDERS - Director of Wellness

Alisha Sanders is the Director of Health Services here at Stonebay of Orono serving on the management team to promote Welcome Home Health Care’s vision in all resident services. The RN takes primary responsibility for the Care Staff, other Nursing staff and their performance to ensure the health and safety of all residents are met.

Alisha has 20 years of experience in the health care field. She has been in Nurse Management for 12 years. Alisha has worked in multiple specialties within health care and has developed a passion for mental health and geriatric care.

Alisha lives with her husband Brant and her two children, Cole and Kaitlyn. They have 3 cats, 2 dogs and a turtle. Alisha likes to spend time with her family, getting away on weekends to their camper and attending her children’s activities and sports. Alisha is a huge hockey fan and loves her Minnesota Wild!


Aaron Teffertiller is the Lead Care Manager at Stonebay. Aaron has more than ten years experience long term care. During the last couple of years Aaron has spent a significant amount of time focusing his energy on Alzheimer's and Dementia. He truly has compassion for the residents in our community and is always looking for ways to assist them in their journey. Aaron is responsible for assisting the nursing department achieve a high level of quality care and to ensure that our residents needs are always met. Aaron works closely with the Director of Health Services, the residents in our community and with our Care Providers. You are always welcome to reach him with questions about care needs or any other items within our nursing department.


At home Aaron is a really big outdoor person. He enjoys working in his large garden, going camping and fishing. His dog, Max is an Alaskan Malamute and loves all of the outdoor space on his ten acre homestead. Aaron enjoys canning his fresh vegetables and making homemade items like syrup, salsa and extra spicy pickles. Aaron is currently exploring his options to enter nursing school and expand his knowledge in long term care.

ANGIE EHALT - Marketing Director

Angie Ehalt is the Marketing Director here at Stonebay of Orono and works directly with the team and Welcome Home Management Company to develop, execute and enhance sales strategy. She develops and implements all aspects of the marketing plan including advertising, community relations, sales, and special events for the community. 


Angie has almost 20 years of experience working in Health Administration and Direct patient care and enjoys working closely with residents and their families. She is dedicated to making everyone see their own potential and staying positive is key. Angie is recognized as a leader who can be depended upon to exceed goals and expectations and will help to make this community thrive.

Outside the office, Angie is on her way to earn her Bachelors of Business Administration with a minor in Marketing Communications, she is very busy and prefers it that way. Angie lives with her husband Keith, two children, Benton and Harper and two small fur babies Bella and Ollie, they enjoy the outdoors, swimming, hiking and going up to the lake, anything to do with family time is important for them.

MIKE LONG - Maintenance Director

Mike is the Maintenance Director here at Stonebay. Mike has more than 20 years experience in the maintenance field and within long term care. He enjoys taking care of the maintenance needs of our seniors and getting to know them as residents of our community. 

Mike enjoys outside yard work, fishing, riding his motorcycle, cooking and sports. Be sure to stop down and watch the Minnesota Vikings and Twins on game days! Mike also enjoys spending time with his daughter and his grandkids.

STEVE HAUER - Community Life Coordinator

Steve Hauer is the Community Life Coordinator here at Stonebay of Orono and works directly with the residents and the Stonebay Team to ensure the residents have a great “Everyday Experience”, within our community.  


Steve has 20 years of customer service experience working in retail.  Steve enjoys working closely with residents and their families. He is dedicated to making everyone see their own potential and staying positive is key. Steve enjoys making people smile and laugh, while keeping residents engaged through activities here at Stonebay of Orono. 


Outside of the Stonebay Community, Steve enjoys fishing, playing cards, swimming, and spending time with family. Steve has three children Nick 17, Jacob 15 and Claire 8. Steve also has two gold fish Ole and Sven (OOH Yah, Don’t Yah Know). Steve also has a part time job, which he enjoys in September and half of October of every year as a wagon driver at Fall Harvest Apple Orchard in Montrose, MN

DAVID LARSEN - Food Services Director

Dave started in food business in 1979, he has worked in fine dining, casual dining, corporate dining and now in senior living. He lives in Minnetonka with the BEST person he knows, his wife Jane. They have 3 boys ages 35,33 & 30 and also have two cats. He enjoys golf, watching the Minnesota Twins and being involved with his church. His passion for food centers around that he feels food is more than just the food on a plate while the food needs to look great and taste great it also serves a purpose beyond that. He feels food tells a story, food is healing, food helps with community. Being in senior living helps him fulfill that passion. He says It is a true blessing to be a part of this team and community.
